Active Harmonic Filter

Filter Operation:

1. Measure of the harmonic currents absorbed by the load.
2. Active Filter acts as a controlled current source connected in   parallel to the harmonic generating load. This controlledcurrent  source produces same harmonic currents as produced by the load but with opposite phase.
3.  Therefore the supply system is loaded with fundamental current only.
